Crystal's Story
Meet Crystal, a female cat aged between a year and two years old.
- Outdoor cat and will need access to a garden - Untested with other cats and dogs, but happy to consider a home with another friend - Needs a home away from busy roads
Hi there everyone! I'm Crystal.
I came into rescue on 25 May, having been found with my three babies in an unused storage room at Crystal Palace football ground - hence my name!
I'd been feeding my kittens and looking after them really well and then popping out through a hole to scavenge for food for myself! Initially, I'd eat everything up just as quick as I could, but now I've learnt that the free food is going to keep coming.
We all went straight to our new ground at WAR HQ, where our manager, Baldy, started training us to not be scared of people. After 3 weeks, we got a free transfer to our foster mum, who continued our intensive training.
Although I fell on hard times for a while, I'm doing really well now, and am a happy, affectionate young lady. My babies are all grown up and have found their forever homes. To be totally honest, I was ready for them to fly the nest! So, now it's MY time to put myself first and be spoilt like I deserve. I'm not keen on laps, but I like being picked up for a fuss and like head strokes, belly rubs, and sleeping on (and sometimes in!) my foster mum's bed. And I love a good brush with my massage brush; it's sooooooo relaxing.
I am a bit nervous with new people, but I will soon gain confidence and learn to trust you!
I'm good at using the litter tray, and I'm not a fussy eater; I love my food, especially chicken slices, and who doesn't love a little treat? I eat most kinds of wet and dry food too.
I've been spayed and have had my first jab, so I think I'm ready to start looking for my furrever home. I can be lively and like to run around and play for a while, but also gentle, so I think I'd be ok with respectful children.
If you think you have room for me in your heart and your home, please complete the application form below. Lots of Love, Crystal xxx
