Hi there everyone!
We're the playful, cuddly, boisterous brother and sister Edgar and Poe. We came into rescue on 19th November. Apparently, we wandered into our finder’s porch near Mitcham Common at the end of October, but they could no longer keep us. So, interestingly, we were found at around the same time and place as fellow WAR kittens Ember and Raven (also up for adoption).
Being very similar in age and looks, the people at WAR started to wonder if indeed we were brothers and sisters. So they contacted Ember and Raven's foster Mum to see if she was happy to take in 2 more. She said yes and a potential family reunion was planned. Well sadly it wasn't exactly a Davina McCall and Nicky Campbell 'Long Lost Family' success!🤣 There were quite a few hisses and growls, but we all gradually learnt to get along. Of course, without that DNA test, no one will really know the truth!🤷♀️
We're both confident, cuddly and very purry. We like to make ourselves comfortable on our foster mum's lap, or snuggle up next to her on the sofa, head bopping her until we get her attention - we love attention! We follow our foster mum around the house, and like to sleep on her pillow at night. We love playing in our tunnel, chasing feathery things and laser lights, and re-arranging the christmas tree. We have a bit of a love/hate relationship (a bit like most siblings). We love to play, have a good fight and then cuddle up to sleep together. Both of us are happy to be picked up for a cuddle.
We're great at using the litter tray. We eat well and we're not fussy with our food. We’ve had all of our vaccinations now and Edgar is being neutered in early January as he is a big boy, already weighing in at 2.3kg! We didn't get our new home christmas miracle, so we're really hoping that the new year will bring us a new forever home.
We are gentle but lively kittens with sharp claws and teeth (sometimes, when we play), so may not be suitable for a home with very young children.
If you think you have room for us in your hearts and your home, please complete the application form.
