Oddjob's Story
Hi all, my name is Oddjob and I am approx 6 -8 years old.
Before WAR rescued me, I had been straying around Beddington for about 3 years. When WAR collected me I wasn't in great shape; I had several wounds and was limping on my left foreleg.
After some nice food, a comfy bed and some good old TLC at WAR HQ, I am feeling so much better. When WAR find unneutered stray cats, they do full blood tests due to not knowing what's happened in the past. Sadly, I tested positive forFIV (feline immunodeficiency virus). This is what happens when cats are not neutered! Please research FIV - it is not a death sentence and doesn't stop me leading a full and happy life.
I'm now living happily with my foster mumma. At first I was a little overwhelmed at the whole living in a home thing after being out for so long and was a bit hidey, but my foster mumma quickly won me over with yummy food and strokes and as a thank you to her I have decided to share her (now my) bed with her at night now - she is a very lucky foster mumma!
I am a huge cat and I love my food. I will be looking for a loving INDOOR ONLY home with no other pets and no young children, after all my time fending for myself I want a quiet home where I can just relax and be spoilt when I choose and also have some space when I need it. If you think you can be my new family, please complete the application form.
