Wrighty, Brighty & Eagle's Story
Meet Wrighty (all black male), Brighty (white and black female) and Eagle (white and black female)! They are approximately 14 weeks old.
Hi there, everyone!
We're the Crystal Palace crew - the terrific trio of Eagle, Wrighty and Brighty. We came into rescue on 25 May, having been found at about 4 weeks old in an unused storage room at Crystal Palace football ground. Our Mum had been feeding us and looking after us really well, but it was the first time we'd seen humans!
We went straight to our new ground at WAR HQ, where our manager Baldy started training us to not be scared of people. After 3 weeks, we got a free transfer to our foster mum, who continued our intensive training.
Although we didn't have a great start in life, we’re doing really well now. We are quite confident when we initiate the passes! We like laps and climbing all over our foster mum, sleeping on her bed and licking her feet!
We love to play, be nosey, run around madly, and use our foster mum as a springboard. But our foster Mum calls us the ‘Odd Squad’ as one minute we're all over her and the next we can jump away like we've never seen her before! We just like to keep her on her toes!
We are very lively kittens, with very sharp studs, and like to climb all over our humans, so we may not be suitable for a home with young children.
Our foster mum says that us twins (Brighty and Eagle) are the most bonded, so we would prefer to be re-homed together as a pair.
Eagle is more of a forward; she's confident, likes belly rubs and laps and has been known to snuggle into bed, whereas Brighty plays a bit more in defence, but she also likes a stroke and a lap (on her terms). Brighty is the most daring, and will be the first to explore, jump, and show her acrobatic skills!
Wrighty started as a bit of a mid-fielder: but he is now the most confident and enjoys stokes and laps (and feet). He loves following his foster mum around, trying to trip her over and helping with chores and he is OBSESSED with water and the kitchen sink! He would like a human who spends time at home, and a team-mate so would need to be rehomed with another cat friend.
WAR would of course consider applications for all 3 of us to go together, although in the current economic climate, we understand that would be a big undertaking.
We're great at using the litter tray. We all eat well: our favourite is chicken slices, but we eat mostly wet food and fish too. We have had all of our jabs and are now ready to make a final transfer to our furrever teams.
