Please read our FAQ and Before You Adopt sections before contacting Wallington Animal Rescue. You will need to thoroughly read the descriptions below in order to understand the animals requirements.
All animals on the following pages are now safe and cared for within our rescue. They are all receiving the medical treatment they need, such as flea and worm treatments, to help them enjoy a happy life. If you have any questions about the following animals or our rescue or to, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Please contact us to go on our waiting list. We have to prioritise our adult cats, who have been hoping to be homed for a long time, first. So if you would like a kitten specifically, please contact us and ask to be put on our waiting list. We will get back to you as soon as kittens become available for adoption.
Hello, my name is Brandon and I am approx 3 -5 years old. I was reported to WAR after I was spotted straying for a long time.
When WAR brought me in, I was in a terrible state. The bald one said I was the most matted cat he had ever seen! I had to be clipped under sedation and the vets found all sorts of nasties stuck in my fur... so I may be a little bit naked now. I certainly feel a lot better than before though and once my beautiful long coat grows back, I will be a stunner!
Whilst I was at the vets, I was neutered as well as chipped. When WAR find cats in as bad a state as me, they do full blood tests due to not knowing what's happened in the past. Sadly, I tested positive for FeLV (feline leukaemia virus). This is what happens when cats are not neutered!!
Now with all what I have been through, I am naturally a weary chap and take a little while to come out of my shell. But now I am settled at WAR, I'm showing my true character! I love strokes and will give you a friendly head bump.
I will be looking for a loving INDOOR ONLY home with no other pets and no young children. I have escaped before, so my new family have to be able to keep me safe indoors. Please research FeLV, it is not a death sentence and doesn't stop me leading a full happy life. If you think you can be my new family, please complete the application form. Luffs Brandon. x
Hi there, the name's George! I'm a cheeky young chap and a great companion.
I like to sit at the window waiting for my foster mum, and always rush to the door to meet her. I like sleeping on her bed at night and sitting on her chest. I'm not a lap cat but I love to be close to my foster mum; having head, chin and belly rubs. I like to play with my toys, especially the laser light game.
I love my food and have been known to get my own pouches from the cat food box. I'd like a home without any other pets, and only children if they're a bit older. I've never been outside, as it's WAR policy for fosterers so I'd like a nice little garden to explore please.
I'm neutered, jabbed, chipped and ready to go, so if there's anyone out there who can give me a loving forever home please do fill out a short adoption form.
Hey hey, I'm Onslow! I am approximately 6 weeks old and I am a little dreamboat (well that's what my foster mumma calls me!!). I was found lost and all alone and I wasn't in the best shape... I was quite skinny and had an eye infection. Fast forward to now though and my eyes are perfect, as well as have a nice full tummy, that by the way is always available for tickles!
I am a real people cat, as in I need to be with my foster family all the time... on laps, necks, shoulders... any will do! I am currently in foster with 2 kids an older cat and a dog. I will not be ready to move in with my forever family until I am 12 weeks old. I'll be looking for a loving home where the family are around lots, so that I'm not lonely... and ideally I'd like to be with another cat or dog pet friend. I would also like a nice safe garden, away from any busy roads; so when I am a bigger boy, I can go on adventures.
If you meet the 'criteria', priority will be given to anyone who's already on our kitten waiting list and if you've previously filled in an application form, you just need to get back in contact with the folks at WAR by email. Otherwise, please fill out the short Adoption Form below... Right I must dash, as it's time these hoomans gave me some tummy tickles!

Hello, my name is Sparrow and I am a 2 year old corn ssssssnake. I came into WAR as an owner surrender. I have settled in nicely and am eating well. The people here at WAR said I am the biggest corn snake they have ever seen- I'll take that as a compliment!
Now because I am such a long snake, my new owners will need to have the correct size vivarium for me so I have plenty of room. I am looking for a home with a snake savvy family. If you think you could offer me a loving new home, please contact Wallington Animal Rescue to arrange a home check!
