Spirit of Wallington Awards 2017

On the 4th December 2017, we were honoured to be nominated for the 'Spirit of Wallington Awards'. We were blown away to win the category - 'Community Award'.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate us and for everyone who helped arrange the awards evening. It was a fabulous event and we are so pleased and proud to of been a part of it.

​In November 2015 we were also notimated and won an award in The Spirit of Wallington Awards, followed by being runners up in 2016. We are very proud to be an award winning rescue.

Tatternhams Rainbow​

Day Of The Dance 2017

We were invited to 1st Tatternhams Rainbow meeting Monday afternoon to talk to the girls about animal care and well-being, "being kind to animals."
​We took the Lovely Tinker who paraded around the hall. The girls donated cat food, dressed up as animals and we took a lucky dip. They managed to raise a whooping £41 For the rescue. Thank you for inviting us Rainbows.

A massive big thank you with much love kisses and hugs to Black Swan Morris, all the dance sides, The Hope, all the volunteers, all the collectors and absolutely everybody involved with 2017's Carshalton Day Of Dance.
What a superb day everybody had and what a fantastic community effort. All of you were amazing and have the rescues utmost respect for raising funds for the animals. 
The final total was raised £529.60, congratulations all!

South London Punk Collective Christmas Party 2017

A massive thank you goes out to all the team at The South London Punk Collective for the fundraiser at The New Cross Inn. We had a brilliant time, thank you so much for everything you do for the rescue and for the amazing £420 raised.

Pagan Futurefest
Yule ​2017

​Thank you to the Pagan Fest team for allowing us to have a stall at Yule Fest. We had a brilliant time in great company and the grand total of £152.70 was raised for the rescue.​

Scrufts 2017

The lovely people at Woodcote Flying Club in Wallington kindly organised a charity fundraiser for WAR. Scrufts was such a success and everyone had a great time.

They managed to raise a huge £161! 👏👏👏
A very special thanks to Abigail who without her we could not have managed, Chloe Ray , and all the beautiful well behaved dogs who attended. 

A Summer Affair 2017

We can't even begin to sum up how we feel after the event. What an incredible day! Thank you to all our amazing volunteers who worked tirelessly, thank you to all the artists and stallholders, thank you to all the staff behind the bar.

​Most importantly thank you everybody who came along, donated and made for such a fantastic atmosphere. We love you all! Safe to say that The Hope well and truly rocked yesterday! It was legend and we're still smiling. You all came together and raised £2187.00 for the rescue!

Pet Photo Competition

We are always trying new fun ways of raising not only much needed funds but also awareness of animal welfare. We held a Pet Photo Competition and had an amazing response. We were blown away with the fantastic photos that were entered.

Carshalton Environmental Fair

We had the most amazing day at the Carshalton Bank Holiday Environmental Fair 2017; fantastic vibe and a great atmosphere in the glorious sunshine. Thank you to everybody who came along and said hello and donated. Thank you to all the lovely people who have rescued animals from us who made our day by saying such nice things about the rescue. We raised an amazing total of £417.06 for the rescue animals.

Empire Cinema Sutton's
​Cone for Charity day

The lovely people at Empire Cinema Sutton ran a Facebook campaign for a local charity to be nominated for their 'Cone for Charity' day in which they will sell a scoop of ice cream in exchange for a donation to the winning charity.
We were totally overwhelmed by the support we received and all the lovely comments backing us.
Thank you for every vote and like that helped us win this amazing opportunity to raise some much needed funds for the animal and to help us spread the word on animal rescue.

The Hope Pub Craft Fair
​June 2017

 We were lucky enough to get a stall at the fantastic craft fare held at The Hope Pub in Carshalton, we had a fabulous time and raised a massive £560.28.

We would like to thank The Hope for inviting us, thank  the stall holders for their donations, and mostly a big thank you to everyone who came and supported us. What a great day!
