WAR Summer Affair - 22nd September 2018 - The Hope Pub
We held our 3rd summer festival at The Hope in Carshalton.
What can we say about that day really? We had a few hiccups along the way and the weather wasn't kind to us. We had no idea what would happen, what did happen amazed us to say the least.
You braved the weather and turned up in your droves, we rocked and we partied on one amazing day. Thank you everybody who turned up, thank you everybody who helped set up and take down, thank you to all the musicians and stall holders, thank you to all the staff at The Hope, thank you to Black Swan Morris for your unwavering support of the rescue.
Thank you to chef and his team, thank you to everybody who made cakes, thank you to absolutely everybody who helped and contributed on the day without a shadow of a doubt.
A special thank you to all our fosterers and volunteers who gave up their own time and worked tirelessly to make it such a success.
We love you all! Between you all, you helped raise the final astounding figure of £3210.33!!!

Thank you to everyone who came to support us at the Greyhound Pub - Carshalton , we felt much loved.
Huge thanks goes to Maria and Lisa who gave up their evening to help #teamWAR. A special thanks goes to our special guest Denise who was carrying out the angel card readings and pamper packs and to her lovely daughter who did the raffle.

Farm Harvest - 15th September 2018 - Sutton Community Farm
We had a really nice day thanks to everybody at Sutton Community Farm.
Great people, great atmosphere and the most excellent natural food. Spoke with some great people as well who showed an interest in the rescue and what we do. We're delighted to say that £105.22 was raised for the rescue.

St Helier Music and Community Festival - 30th June 2018
We had a fabulous day at St Helier Music and community festival on Saturday and raised £317.43 for the rescue.

Lexie's Boozy Auction
Lexie auctioned off this boozy bundle to raise funds for the rescue.
The boozy bundle consisted of a Fever Tree Gin and Tonic advent calendar, Crown Royal Black Whisky, a bottle of Garganega, a bottle of Babycham, small bottle of M&S prosecco and a bottle of Ruby Ale, alongside a 40 minute complementary therapy session of your choice - thanks Lexie (and of course everyone who donated and bid!)

We had the most fantastic day at the Carshalton Carnival.
So lovely to speak to everybody who's adopted from us or showed interest in the rescue today as well. Much love and hugs to Black Swan Morris as well for your support as usual, we love you lots but you know that anyway. We're delighted to say that the amazing sum of £413.44 was raised!

We had such a lovely day at the Beddington May Fayre in the sun.
Thank you to our WAR army for all your help, baking, contributions and giving up your time to man the stall. We couldn't do it without you. Thank you to all our adopters and friends who came and said hello as well, lovely to see you all. Take a bow folks as you all helped to raise the amazing sum of £429.36 for the rescue! |

We're delighted to say we were allowed to hold an Easter cake sale and raffle at Ellis House in Wallington.
We really had a fantastic time and loved meeting everybody who in turn loved meeting the animals we introduced them to. The animals has a great time and enjoyed much fussing and loves as well. Massive thank you to our team of fosterers and volunteers who worked tirelessly to make today such a success. The amazing sum of £476.03 was raised for the rescue. |
