Here at WAR we are mainly self funding, we also rely on the generosity of the public. We often hold stalls at local events to raise funds and are always on the look out for unwanted gifts, good quality raffle and tombola prizes .If you have any items we could sell on our stall we are happy to collect, as long as it is in Wallington or surrounding areas.

We had the most fantastic day at the Carshalton Carnival. So lovely to speak to everybody who's adopted from us or showed interest in the rescue today as well. Much love and hugs to Black Swan Morris as well for your support as usual, we love you lots but you know that anyway. We're delighted to say that the amazing sum of £413.44 was raised!

We had such a lovely day at the Beddington May Fayre in the sun . Thank you to our WAR army for all your help, baking, contributions and giving up your time to man the stall, we couldn't do it without you. Thank you to all our adopters and friends who came and said hello as well, lovely to see you all. Take a bow folks as you all helped to raise the amazing sum of £429.36 for the rescue!
Belostra Celebration 2018 at Stanley Halls

We're delighted to announce that £159.86 was raised at Belostra. It gets better though, we were also surprised to be presented with a cheque for £190.00 by Angie Phillips on behalf of the Two Brewers pub, Gloucester Road, Croydon.

Easter cake sale at Ellis House

We're delighted to say we were allowed to hold an Easter cake sale and raffle at Elles House in Wallington. We really had a fantastic time and loved meeting everybody who in turn loved meeting the animals we introduced them to. The animals had a great time and enjoyed much fussing and loves as well. Massive thank you to our team
of fosterers and volunteers who worked tirelessly to make today such a success. The amazing sum of £476.03 was raised for rescue. 😁😁😁 |

What an amazing night at The Hope for the White Rock Brewery launch and the rescue!
Thank you Ross for allowing us to be a part of it. Thank you to all of the staff at The Hope for everything you did tonight, thank you Colin and Alex, thank you to all our lovely fosterers and volunteers, thank you to everybody who came down and said hello and showed your support. Thank you to everyone who donated prizes for our raffle, we had some amazing prizes including: 2 cinema tickets from Tina at Empire Cinema Sutton Dog boarding voucher from Suzi's home from home for dogs Woodcote Flying club for 2 meal vouchers Ovens2new for a oven cleaning voucher Thank you everybody who helped to raise a phenomenal £831.80 for the rescue! Pagan Futurefest Yule
Thank you to all the Pagan Fest team for allowing the rescue to have a stall at Yule Fest. We had a brilliant time in great company and the grand total of £152.70 was raised for the rescue.
WAR Calendar

One of our amazing supporters kindly offered us her expert help in designing and printing a WAR calendar for 2018 as we received a lot of interest in the idea we ran a competition for WAR adopters to enter their furbabies in to win the prized front cover which was great fun and the winning photo was the beautiful Tasha.
We had an absolutely overwhelming demand for the calendars to say the least. 😁 We have now sold out of our 2018 calendars but do not fear we will be back with a 2019 WAR calendar soon!

2018 We Are All Artists Calendar

Our amazing friend and supporter Doug Shaw has designed a beautiful calendar and is kindly donating a percentage of the sales to Wallington Animal Rescue. The 2018 We Are All Artists calendar features some of the most popular free art drops made in Wallington, Carshalton and the surrounding area over the past 12 months, and some of the artist's favourite works. Each image is A4 size, so the calendar is A3 overall when opened and hanging. Each calendar comes with notes briefly describing the story behind the art works, and where they were hidden, and is signed on the front cover by the artist. Rainbows

We were invited to 1st Tatternhams Rainbow meeting Monday afternoon to talk to the girls about animal care, " being kind to animals" We took the Lovely Tinker who paraded around the hall. The girls donated cat food , dressed up as animals and we took a lucky dip. They managed to raise a whooping £41 For the rescue . Thank you for inviting us Rainbows

Day Of The Dance 2017

A massive big thank you with much love kisses and hugs to Black Swan Morris, all the dance sides, The Hope, all the volunteers, all the collectors and absolutely everybody involved with yesterday's Carshalton Day Of Dance (Just too many to name individually). What a superb day everybody had and what a fantastic community effort. All of you were amazing and have the rescues utmost respect for raising funds for the animals.

Scrufts 2017!

The lovely people at Woodcote Flying Club in Wallington kindly organized a charity fundraiser for WAR. Scrufts was such a success and everyone had a great time.
They managed to raise a huge £161.00 👏👏👏 a very special thanks to Abigail who without her we could not have managed, Chloe Ray , and all the beautiful well behaved dogs who attended.

Wallington Animal Rescue - A Summer Affair - Fundraising Event 2017

"We can't even begin to sum up how we feel after yesterday. What an incredible day! Thank you to all our amazing volunteers who worked tirelessly, thank you to all the artists and stallholders, thank you to all the staff behind the bar. Most importantly thank you everybody who came along, donated and made for such a fantastic atmosphere. We love you all! Safe to say that The Hope well and truly rocked yesterday! It was legend and we're still smiling. Oh we nearly forgot you all came together and raised £2187.00 for the rescue. Thank you so so much 😁

We had the most amazing day at the Carshalton Bank Holiday Environmental Fayre, fantastic vibe and a great atmosphere in the glorious sunshine. Thank you to everybody who came along and said hello and donated. Thank you to all the lovely people who have rescued animals from us who made our day by saying such nice things about the rescue. We raised £417.06 for the animals
Empire Cinema Sutton's Cone for Charity day

The lovely people at Empire Cinema Sutton ran a Face Book campaign for a local charity to be nominated for their 'Cone for Charity' day in which they will sell a scoop of ice cream in exchange for a donation to the winning charity.
We were totally overwhelmed by the support we received and all the lovely comments backing us. Thank you for every vote and like that helped us win this amazing opportunity to raise some much needed funds for the animal and to help us spread the word on animal rescue |

The Hope Pub Craft Fayre June 2017

We were lucky enough to get a stall at the fantastic craft fare held at The Hope Pub in Carshalton, we had a fabulous time and raised a massive £560.28p. We would like to thank The Hope for inviting us, thank the stall holders for their donations , and mostly a big thank you to everyone who came and supported us. What a great day!
