"They do so much vital work with rescuing and rehoming animals, they are there when even the RSPCA doesn't have the time or resources to come out.
Even when they are full, if an animal is in need they make arrangements to help. Wonderful people with monumental hearts" "WAR are 110% committed, devoted and passionate about caring for the animals that they rescue and for the subsequent re-homing to carefully vetted and sensitively selected loving homes. They do all this by self-funding and small donations. They are truly inspirational in their dedication and deserve the support of all animal lovers in whatever capacity we can offer to them, in order that they may continue their very valuable work rescuing abused, abandoned or distressed animals. Thank you once again for all your help!" |
"The lovely people from WAR came out to Bill the cat who had been wondering up and down our road in Wallington unfortunately we couldn't take him in and he is currently in the care of WAR who are trying their hardest to find his owner after our failed attempts, highly recommend for any animal issues lovely people, thank you."
"WAR are amazing. When a lovely lost cat turned up in our garden we had no idea what to do. I had never heard of Wallington Animal Rescue but given their number by a vet they were so willing to help. Even though they had no room to take him they went above and beyond to help him, when other larger organisations didn't want to know. I definitely will be making regular donations to them from now on. Wonderful, caring people." |

"Amazing people. They truly care about the animals and finding them a forever home. Without them we would not have our lovely cat Yuzu. I cant recommend WAR enough."
"Fantastic kind people who work extremely hard for the welfare of animals amazing." "These guys are brilliant. We got our 2 beautiful cats from them. They have a wonderful nature thanks to the way they were looked after. They even helped us get one of them to the vets when he was poorly. Thanks so much WAR." |
"As a fosterer, I have the support of Neil and Amanda who’re there at all times if I need assistance. WAR provides for all the cat’s needs, such as vet bills and food. I treat my foster cat as if he were my own; my role is to love and care for, give attention and love the animal on a daily basis, to help the animal recover from illness, neglect or mistreatment.
WAR’s cats are often at a low when placed in my care and it is extremely rewarding to see the cat’s health improve and be part of the rehoming team. The experience of allowing my foster cat to have a second chance of happiness is my goal. Fostering maybe something to consider if you are a cat lover but cannot commit to the responsibility of one animal for many years. There are advantages to fostering. WAR look after the cat when I go on holiday and also fully manage the time required for vet appointments. Volunteering for a local charity where I meet adoptive families, who are often from our own neighbourhood, is very enjoyable!" |
