Applications are open for animals on our website and our Facebook page. We also welcome 'flexible' applications. Please read the information carefully on each cat before applying to ensure they are suited to your home.
We have a strict no-cage policy for cats and dogs (unless there is a medical need for them to be on cage rest). We rely on our amazing fosterers to help home our animals whilst we look for their perfect homes. One of the key things of which we are extremely proud at WAR are our specifically designed cat rooms for the cats that stay with us. The rooms have been designed to encourage fun and stimulation, whilst giving the cats plenty of places to relax and feel secure.
The Orange Room
This is the first and main sanctuary within WAR Headquarters.
The Orange Room is full of climbing levels, scratch posts and toys to keep the rescue cats occupied, healthy and full of energy. We are very proud of how our rooms are set out for the well-being of our furry friends.
The Green Room
Our newest addition to WAR HQ, with newly refurbished furniture and decorations throughout the room. The green room is a peaceful zone for cats to enjoy each others company in, with everything they need available to keep active.
Our Trusty WAR Rescue Van!
Please say hello to Rescue One.
When the rescue registered as a charity, we knew we needed to move forward and needed a vehicle that was fit for purpose for what the rescue does on a day-to-day basis. Massive thank you to our tech team, Shelley and Mindy, for assistance with making/choosing the graphics to go on the van, and thank you so much to Adrian and all at AMR Signs. Rescue One is on the road!
