All animals on the following pages are now safe and cared for within our rescue. Please contact us to go on our waiting list. We have to prioritise our adult cats, who have been hoping to be homed for a long time, first. So if you would like a kitten specifically, please contact us and ask to be put on our waiting list. We will get back to you as soon as kittens become available for adoption. Please note we only rehome kittens in pairs unless we have a single one come in.
Hello everyone, my name is Angel. I am a very playful young lady and love a good game with my favourite toy... my tiger-mouse. I also like to carry it around!
I am not 100% a lap cat, but I love a cuddle and fuss on my terms, but will then turn playful. I don't mind being picked up. I like kids from about 7 but not too keen on any younger than that. I enjoy my food and will let my foster mumma know when it's dinner time. I'm not a fussy girl either as I will tuck into most things.. mmm food...
I am looking for a loving home with a safe garden, away from main roads. I have asked my foster mumma to say a few words so here she goes... "Angel isn't very shy at all. She is as bold as brass. She can be cautious of new people but quickly warms up to them. She loves human contact and will often go to the front windows when I leave for work. She waits for my husband by the door when he gets in, and insists on being adored before he does anything else. Angel is an absolutely beautiful cat, with a lovely friendly temperament. She has made us laugh everyday since she was brought to us."
I'd say that's a pretty good take on my personality. If you think you could offer me a loving furever home, please complete the application form found on the website. Luffs Angel. xx
Hi there folks, I am Steve and this is my sister Shelley. We came into WAR as part of a hoarding case.
Shelley had kittens and once they were all sorted, they went off to loving new homes. Shelley and I then got neutered and jabbed, and went off to a new home.
We settled in well and loved our new mum and she loved us back, however once we were settled and our mum let us go out and about... the hunter instinct in us kicked in. To show our thanks to our new mum, we brought her back furry / feathered presents every day some times multiple times in one day. This became to much for our new mum to cope with as it seems you humans don't really like those kind of prezzies... so it was decided it would be best for us to return to WAR and find a new home. We are friendly and enjoy human company and would love a nice family to call our own but our new owner must be prepared for the call of the wild my sister and I have - we will bring you prezzies!
Hi there, I'm Nina. I'm a friendly young lady approx 2 years old and a good companion.
I always rush to the door to meet my foster mum and like sleeping on her bed at night. I'm not a lap cat as such but I love to be close to my foster mum; having head and chin rubs, and I do like standing on her lap for cuddles. I still like to play sometimes, especially with the laser light game.
All I really want is a quiet life with lots of cuddles, a garden to explore, oh and food as I do love my food.
So I'd like a home without any other pets and only children if they're a bit older. I'm spayed, jabbed, chipped and ready to go, so if there's anyone out there who can give me a loving forever home, please do fill in an application form.
Hi humans, I'm Aurora and I am approx 1 years old. I'm loud, loving and lively - once I've settled in. I love strokes, fusses and my worm toy, but I'm not a fan of being picked up. Kingston Housing department were emptying out an abandoned flat and heard a noise from inside the sofa. They broke up the sofa and found me hiding inside! They called WAR who came and collected me, I was quite a scared little lady at first as you can imagine I hadn't had a good time.
If you adopt me, I promise you hours of entertainment; playing with my toy, chasing my tail and doing back somersaults off the sofa. I'm nervous of new humans, but with gentle encouragement and Dreamies (of course), I will come and investigate them. I would love a safe garden to play in so I can chase bugs and things, if it is raining I sit in the window and chase the water droplets.
I always greet my humans with a loud meow, a flop on the floor and a cheeky face - the suckers then give me treats. I love charging through the house and snuggling slippers and keeping you company in the loo. Really, I'm an awesome cat with a full purrsonality and a lot of love to give. When I get fusses, I occasionally get a bit over excited and nibble my human, so I'm best not placed with young children.
Please give me a chance to bring more love to your home by applying for adoption!
