The Story of Dahl & Carroll
Dahl: ~ Male ~ 11 months old
Carroll: ~ Female ~ 11 months old
[To be rehomed/adopted as a pair.]
Hello all! We are the Book Babies — as we are named after famous authors! We were born under a shed and were discovered when we were approximately 2 weeks old. Thankfully, our mumma was rescued with us, and we were all brought to WAR HQ. Our mumma did a grand job raising us all, and eventually our siblings and mum all found fantastic forever homes. Sadly, we have been overlooked. We stayed at WAR HQ for a long time, hoping we would find a home, but sadly as that didn't happen, we moved into our foster home.
Here is what our foster mum has to say about us: "Carroll and Dahl are beautiful young cats. They are, however, incredibly shy and very skittish. Carroll is the braver of the two, and when she feels safe, she will come out and loves chasing the feather on the stick and loves a stroke. Dahl is a total scaredy cat and is still not comfortable to be out and about in the house. He will pop out, but if there are any sudden movements, he will run and hide. I think in time they will both make loving cats, but their new owners must be prepared to let that relationship build at their speed and be really understanding to their needs. Because of their nervous nature, I would say they need an adult-only home with no other pets. Please dont let that put you off as gaining the trust of nervous cats is so rewarding.”
Thanks, foster mum!
We would like to be rehomed as a pair as we love each other, and it helps us feel safe. We do require a garden that we can explore when we are settled and feeling confident enough to venture out. Also, we would like a home not close to busy/main roads. As of August 2023, we are now being advertised an indoor cats due to our timid nature.
We are chipped, jabbed and spayed/neutered!
