Minnie's Story
Hi everyone, I'm marvellous Minnie.
You may remember that I came to WAR back in May with my 2 day old kittens (now Ferdie and Melody) after we were found in a shed. My foster mum said that I was the best cat Mum. But to be honest I was very scared and nervous and i didn't let her near me for a few weeks, and continued to be very focussed on my babies.
However, they've gone now to a lovely new home and I've been spayed and my foster mum says that I'm a different cat.
I sleep on her bed, follow her around while she's getting ready for work, play with my favourite mouse toy, watch her cooking, and I go and meet her when she comes home from work. Okay, so I'm not a lap cat but I'll flop on the floor anywhere for cuddles and I love cuddles on the bed. I'm also quite a vocal cat and love a good chat with my foster mum and my toy mouse!
Now I have to let you know that I'm still a very nervous girl - my mum says I'm skittish and hand shy - but she also says I'm gorgeous and loving, just learning to trust still, and I agree. I've got a habit of 'nibbling' her hand when she's stroking me (even when I'm happy and purring) but it doesn't hurt her.
I'm looking for a special and understanding furever home, with cat savvy owners but no children or other pets please. I love watching birds out of the window so would like a nice garden away from main roads to potter about in. I am spayed and vaccinated and ready to find my forever home that I can relax and settle in. Hope to hear from you soon!
