Scampi's Story
Hi. I’m Scampi, a 5-ish year old boy who came to WAR just before Christmas when my Mum became ill and had to go into hospital.
I'm now happily settled in my foster home and my foster Mum has definitely fallen for my charms. She says I’m such a sweet, gentle, chilled out soul. I’m not a fan of laps, but I don't mind being picked up and cuddled and I'll take head, belly and paw rubs anywhere and everywhere. I do love a good, long belly rub in particular, and sleeping with my head in a human hand! My mum also says that I've got the funniest meow that she's ever heard :-).
Ok, so I’m not the most active of cats, and that might have affected my waistline a little, but I can definitely run when it's food time, and I can jump up onto beds and sofas when I want cuddles. I’m a catnip junkie and can often be found rolling around with my favourite catnip cockerel. I’m a bit nervous of unexpected noises, and like my peace and quiet, so I'm looking for a quiet home without children but where I’ll get plenty of undivided love and attention.
Sometimes I’m happy to chill out alone all day in my bed next to the radiator, but other times I'll just follow you round everywhere demanding cuddles. I also love bird watching, though I don't know what they're all called yet, so would like direct access to a little garden where I can watch the world go by. I’m already chopped and chipped and vaccinated and ready to go.
So if you think you can meet my needs and be my furever home, are local to Wallington and don't live on a busy road, then please do fill in an application form.
