Selene's Story
Meet Selene!
👉 Can live with families 👉 Outdoor cat and needs access to a garden 👉 Would prefer to be an only pet 👉 Needs a home away from busy roads
Hi! My name is Selene. I was rescued by WAR after being handed into the vets with a nasty injury to my back. The vets said they believe it was caused by someone cutting out my microchip. The vets also discovered that I was pregnant!
Fast forward 6 months and my back is now all healed up, three of my beautiful kittens have found their furrever homes, and now it's my time to shine!
Originally, the plan was to find a home with my last kitten Kyrie, but if I'm honest, she was a bit full on! Now that I'm done with Mum duties, I just want to chill out with a new family on my own.
I've been with my foster mum for 2 weeks now and am living my best life. I still like to play sometimes with my laser game, ball run and scrunchy tunnel. I love my cuddly toys, carrying them around the house and bringing gifts to my mum's bedroom.
I'm not a lap cat, but I'm definitely a chest cat! If you're vaguely horizontal, be it on the sofa or in bed, then I'll be straight on you, laying face to face, purring away and wanting head rubs and strokes. I'll flop all over you until I retire to have a nap. I like to follow my mum around the house as she goes about her business, and I'm happy to be picked up for a cuddle too.
I'm quite chilled and outgoing so would be happy living with a family, with children who understand a cat's needs/limits. I would like a garden to explore when I'm allowed out in a home away from any busy/main roads.
I'm spayed and vaccinated, flead and wormed, and I'm great with the litter tray, so all ready and raring to join a new home.
If you think you could be my loving forever home, please complete the application form below!
