Hi folks. Firstly, we'd like to thank everyone for your ongoing support of our rescue, even during these difficult pandemic times. Things have been extremely difficult for the rescue and team. We thank everybody for your kind offers to volunteer and foster, however we're not taking on any fosterers at the moment sadly.
All aspects of rehoming are also on hold. Whilst this may sound silly, we can't afford to put any of Team WAR at risk, as all volunteers/fosterers/adopters require a home check first. The health and safety of our team and supporters is very important to us, as without them; we wouldn't be able to help the animals we rescue! So this is an essential step towards getting through this difficult time.
Unfortunately, we've also already have lost 3 of our fundraisers this year due to the UK lockdown, so we don't know what's coming next... But let's keep our heads up high. We wish you all the best for safety and good health!
However, we wanted to share some good news...
As of March 2020, we are now eligible for donations via shopping with Amazon Smile!
Lots of reputable charities use this service (including Samaritans, Marie Curie, Cats Protection) as it's a wonderful way of raising funds for your chosen charity; without physically having to donate or using much effort either!
Amazon donates 0.5% of the net purchase price (excluding VAT, returns and shipping fees) of your eligible purchases to the charity. AmazonSmile is the same Amazon you know. Same products, same prices, same service.
For more info, please click the button below to read how to set it up! :)
We also still have our Amazon Wishlist if you are able to help us that way... you can send us the essential items we need to run our rescue; from cat food and treats, to toys and litter. Any donations made via either of these platforms will be deeply appreciated, especially in tough times like these.
That's all from us for now. We will keep you updated in the coming weeks. Again, we thank you for all your support and please continue to do so, to enable us to continue our rescue work.
Thank you and much love from all at Team War. XxX
